Say goodbye to confusion! Check your investments and returns with new ease5 min read

Our motto at Paytm Money is to keep innovating and iterating our offerings to make our users’ investing journey simple and transparent. Each of our offerings goes through multiple iterations to ensure our users keep using our platform for their various financial goals with ease.

We heard our users and understood the real importance of transparency they seek in terms of their current investments and ongoing positions and orders. Say no more; here is our revamped home screen on Paytm Money which makes sure you get a glimpse of all your investments, current positions, holdings, and orders, among various other crucial information, in one glance at Paytm Money Home screen.

Let’s walk 🚶 you through how new 🎁 powerful Paytm Money home screen is 

We have got you a new top navigation bar where, on the extreme left, you can access your profile information with one click, followed by your loving company, Paytm Money’s logo.

On the right side, we have created a bucket of features based on highly accessed common features. The Call Us feature is newly launched on Paytm Money to make sure, in times of urgency Paytm Money is there to help you. This feature is slowly rolling out to all users so few of the users might not be able to see this option as of now.

On the extreme right, we have an overflow menu, which will contain features which are not that frequently used by important from an investor’s perspective. 

Investment Card

The Investment Card – as the name suggests – provides you with a quick condensation of all your investments across various product offerings (Stocks, MFs, and NPS), and the returns that you have accumulated till now. 

Look out for the green or red percentage sign which shows how your investments have performed over time and the % returns they have generated for you.

That’s not all, we also provide you with the breakup of returns across multiple offerings that you have invested in – Stocks, MF, and NPS to name a few. 

Additionally, if users are in need of more details – worry 😟 not, with a click of a button, users can expand on the investment card.

The expanded version gives you a snapshot of your overall returns as well as that specific day returns. It also shows the overall growth or loss in your returns so that you can take the next steps in your investment journey accordingly.

Positions

The positions tab on the homescreen showcases any open positions taken by our users in intraday or are carried forward from previous days. 

This is one of the highlighted sections for traders on Homescreen just after our Investment Card.

The Position card also provides information regarding your overall and specific day P&L. You can wish to expand on this information and get an overview of your realized and Unrealized P&L.

If you wish to require more information in your trades, by clicking on each of these positions, you will be quickly redirected to a detailed screen consisting of all information that is essential for a specific position. 

Holdings

The Holdings tab gives an outline of securities held by you in your account. That’s not all, our holdings tab ensures you know the quantities of stock you hold along with the amount that you have invested till now.

Our percentage markers against each security show you the overall growth/loss you have witnessed in each stock to make sure you can plan your further investment journey easily.

Similarly to the positions tab, your overall and specific day P&L returns are readily available on the top. 

Orders

Confused about the orders that you have placed and want to know their status? Worry not, your orders can now be checked under one section right on your home screen. 

Under the Orders tab, you can get an idea of the status of your 3 orders, bifurcated by the type of order (intraday, bracket order, cover order, AMO, to name a few) you have placed. You can also know with quick precision how many orders of yours have been successful or are still pending.

On any tab (position, holdings, or orders), if you click on “View all”, you will be taken to the full page of respective features where you will be shown all items.

Each of these sections additionally has a funds section as well. This enables you to expeditiously check the funds that have been used by you and your remaining trading balance in your account. This reduces multiple clicks and moves to various screens just to get an idea of your funds available.

If you are looking for a more advanced view of your funds, just click anywhere on the Funds card, and here you go!
