NPS Update : PFRDA Revises NPS Service Charges1 min read
In accordance with the recent guidelines issued by PFRDA, we would be revising the service charges that a subscriber needs to pay while going for account opening and conducting transactions under the National Pension System (NPS).
This move is expected to provide better accessibility of funds to all the POPs including Paytm Money; so that we are able to improve our infrastructure and overall NPS technology platform. Additionally, it would enable us to promote and distribute NPS actively and offer better customer service to all our NPS subscribers.
As per the regulations, the Account Opening Fee has been revised to Rs 200 from the existing fee of Rs 99. Also, the Transaction Fee has been increased to Rs 20 from the existing fee of Rs 15. The revised charges would be applicable from 5th October 2020.
The transaction fees would be collected upfront on initial contribution and all subsequent contributions. To know more about the PFRDA circular, click here.
