Subsequently, the Company was converted into a public limited company and the name of the Company was changed from 'Galaxy Surfactants Private Limited' to 'Galaxy Surfactants Limited' on March 13, 1995. Galaxy Surfactants is one of India's leading manufacturers of Surfactants and other Specialty Care Ingredients catering to the Home and Personal Care Industry. The products are categorized as Performance Surfactants which comprise ingredients which form the core of any cleansing and foaming solution and Specialty Care Products which perform special functions when incorporated in any home and personal care formulation. From year 2000-2010, Galaxy Surfactants took a strategic step towards setting up a manufacturing facility in Egypt.
