1. What is Paytm Money Individual API?
Open APIs are simple Rest APIs built on top of the Paytm Money trading system that allow Paytm Money users to gain programmatic access to order, trade, position, portfolio, funds, profile, live market data, margin calculator, and other features. This will enable a user to manage trading and investing through a preferred user interface.
2. How do they Work?
- To generate the API Key and API Secret, you must have a KYC ready equity trading account with Paytm Money.
- If you already have one, you can sign in for a developer account here https://developer.paytmmoney.com/ and create an app and get started instantly.
3. What types of APIs are available?
We have launched –
- Trading API
- Live Market data API
- Live quote through API
- Broadcast data through websocket

4. Are these APIs only for Developers who know coding?
Not Really!! Any trader who has trading ideas can subscribe for Paytm Money Open API and hire a third party developer to code the trading tool, trading set-up and connect to Paytm Money trading system. Your developer can develop the logic in excel, charting tools like Amibroker, NinjaTrader etc or any trading platforms using NodJS, JAVA, Python programming SDK’s.
