How to create API Key and Secret2 min read

Paytm Money Open APIs are simple Rest APIs built on top of the Paytm Money trading system that allow Paytm Money users to gain programmatic access to order, trade, position, portfolio, funds, profile, live market data, margin calculator, and other features. This will enable a user to manage trading and investing through a preferred user interface.
- To generate the API Key and API Secret, you must have a KYC ready equity trading account with Paytm Money.
- If you already have one, you can sign in for a developer account and get started instantly.
- A single user can generate API keys and Secrets for up to five apps.
Steps to create apps
Step 1- Go to https://developer.paytmmoney.com/ and click on SIGN IN
Step 2- Login with Paytm Money Registered Mobile Number/ Email.
Step 3- Click on Create New App. A single user can generate API keys and Secrets for up to five apps.
Step 4- You will get Trading API and Market Data API for free!! Just click proceed to create the app.
Step 5- Fill the basic details about your new app like App name, Product type, Redirect URL, Description and click proceed to get the API Key and secret.
Step 6- You can access the API Key and API secret for the app in the dashboard section.
Step 7- We allow users to change the app details and pause/delete the apps.
